The Competent Person Training Seminar covers the CAL-OSHA Title 8, Section 1540 through 1541.1 and Fed OSHA 1926 subpart P requirements pertaining to excavations, trenching and sloping techniques, protective systems and soils classification with an introduction to confined space entry safety. Our comprehensive training is an important part of keeping your company compliant with current OSHA regulations. The course is roughly 7-8 hours providing .8 CEU’S or 8 hours of Continuing Education Units. There is a 50 question test at the end of the course to show comprehension of the material covered.

NUCA Confined Space Entry Training
The Confined Space Entry Training Seminar is intended to provide managers, foremen, competent persons, and workers with basic information regarding entry into confined spaces.  It’s purpose is intended to create an awareness of the hazards associated with confined space entry, to help workers understand the procedures that must be followed when entering confined spaces, and to provide managers with basic information necessary to establish a confined space entry program.

This course will assist participants with the following:

• Identify confined spaces
• Demonstrate knowledge of confined space entry requirements
• Identify confined space hazards
• Set up a basic confined space entry program 

The seminar is roughly 5-6 hours with a 50 question test at the end to show comprehension of the material covered.

Individual Training
We offer seminars conducted at our training facility in Fullerton on selected Saturdays at  a cost of $150.00 per person including a comprehensive handbook, a certificate of completion, a wallet card, continental breakfast and lunch.

Group Training
We also provide seminars at your facility.  There is a 15-person minimum per day requirement at a cost of $150.00 per person plus travel expenses if necessary.  We ask that as the host you provide a continental breakfast and a catered lunch (sandwiches or pizza is fine) along with cold beverages for your trainees.  We will provide the screen and projector if needed or we can use your equipment.
