TSC has two steel plate lifting eye / lifting ring options. They are a type of lifting or hoisting attachment that is designed for use in lifting applications.

• The TSC Lifting Eye. Available for use with most 1" thick steel plates. 

• The Actek® Swivel Hoist Ring. Available for use with most 1.5" thick steel plates.

A swivel hoist ring consists of a threaded bolt or rod with an integrated pivoting or swiveling mechanism at the top. The Actek steel plate swivel hoist rings enable faster and safer handling of heavy steel plates and are preferred when lifting loads at various angles or in situations where the direction of force may change. The swiveling action helps prevent the lifting hardware from torque or twisting, contributing to a safer and more efficient lifting process.

Plate Locks provide a significant risk elimination of general liability claims from shredded tires, cars in trenches, trips, slips and falls. They eliminate shifting, walking and creeping of the steel plate and are low maintenance. Keeps multiple plates aligned and helps to avoid gaps that a cyclist’s tire can fall through. They do not need to be removed to allow for work or inspections to be done, while consistently marking, identifying and securing the plate. Safety orange, reusable, recyclable, cost effective.

Steel spikes (railroad spikes) may find applications in certain trenching and excavation projects. Potential uses include trench markers, temporary fastening of lightweight materials such as plastic barriers & warning tape, or non-structural support for lightweight features like signs or barricades.
